Grunge-y liberal shop with easy-going cool vibe. Breakfast sandwich and potatos were pretty good. No complaints. Lots of quiet seating.

Great atmosphere, great food, nice place to study. They love their vegans and vegetarians!Sunday brunch is superb and well worth the price.

Absolutely loved the vibes at this place. Very welcoming and community centered. The staff was great and the food was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be back when visiting STL! Highly recommend. Affordable prices as well for amazing quality.

This place has an amazing menu. The food is absolutely delicious, shocking considering it's a coffee shop. However, I rarely come here or suggest it for one reason alone. The blonde woman that works behind the counter could not be more rude, or hated her job more than someone that cleanse out the horse stalls. Why does she work somewhere that requires customer service? Good luck if she takes your order. You'll find out immediately what I am explaining here.

Had speciality coffee and brownies with my son. Every thing was great. The people are super nice!

Visited this morning at 11.10am, at that time it's generally a place where people meet up to get work done. A great playlist playing very softly and the friendliest staff up front. The breakfast menu closes at 11am so instead of the breakfast burrito I had my heart set on, I had to order a chicken salad and added a "Big Al's Buttery Nipple". The "nipple was good but the chicken salad turned out to be an 'almost chicken mayo burger'. Wasnt what I expected

When I asked for mint flavor in my shake the waitress was smart enough to ask me don't you want chocolate in there too because of course I did. This is a coffee house with an attitude and they easily get away with it because of all their tasty goodness including a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. This is a place that you jump into and get a quick bite and coffee or you can spend hours talking out on the patio

It was an oasis from the concrete jungle and had a really cozy atmosphere, the way more coffeehouses (notably, Starbucks) should emulate. The food here was beyond coffeehouse quality and this place would be one of several reasons to relocate to St. Louis.

The food and drinks here are the best. This coffeehouse is everything you would want in one - you can have a community meeting, an intimate gathering, or just sit by yourself and get some work done. There is ample seating at the bar, upstairs in the loft, or on their patio. If you want to support a progressive business, come here.

A coffee shop with a personality and a voice. MokaBe’s is located across from Tower Grove park on Grand. This coffeehouse serves a variety of both hot and cold specialty coffee drinks. There is also a wide variety of food items from breakfast to lunch with vegetarian and plant based options as well. There is plenty of seating if you want to just enjoy a coffee and catch up or you can head upstairs and plug in your laptop to get some studying or work done. When the weather is nice there is also great outdoor seating on the patio. Be sure to check out the tip jars!

Wonderful atmosphere and the staff is excellent. My wife and I met friends for brunch and the experience was amazing. We had the brunch buffet (vegan dishes) and it was excellent! ❤❤❤ this place and we will be visiting as regulars from now on.

Love it! Food, coffee and even the people are great. Staff is usually welcoming. The French dip sandwich is my go-to. Just discovered they have brunch on weekend. Great price for what you get! Very inclusive menu and buffet options. The tip jar choice thing always gets a chuckle out of me. One of those free things that goes a long way and gives the place a more personable and like able feel. Great place to study too. Patio and people watching are great on a summer day. but the smoking can really add up if you’re not a smoker. It gives me a headache so I can’t stay outside too long some days but there’s more seating inside. Of course the location great and the park is a lovely backdrop.

my bro, his gf, and i used to come here and do hw on wednesday's before rona. i miss it. great vibes for sure and cool staff that i would wanna be friends with. chai latte is pretty decent but the overall vibe is what makes this place sick

The food and drinks here show that the owners care about serving you something special. I usually get a mocha and if hungry the quesadilla. Nice patio out front when the weather is good. Inside is relaxed and a game of chess is nice if you have the time.

We went for the excellent all you can eat Sunday brunch. There were a lot of vegan options. The food was delicious, and they had really good coffee.

All the drinks were well-made and tasted perfectly. The hummus plate had fresh hot bread! I suspect the hummus was fresh too!

So many different people call Mo's "home"...a place to meet, chill, visit, study, be.Mo has created a living space, meeting space, public space where all are welcome.The sandwiches are good, the soups are great, and the drinks are just what you need at the end of the day.

A serviceable "alternative" style coffeehouse. Things I enjoy most include the friendly staff and the cozy upstairs seating. The drinks are good generally. I can see a younger, hipster crowd really liking the space. I could do without the in your face social justice warrior decor and feel.

Good place to go if your in college. Open until 11:00 p.m. can't get better than that :)

A fun atmosphere with a handful of unique coffee drinks and assorted options for vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores. The flavor of my vegan burrito was spot on, but it was a textureless mush. The tofu seemed to be barely warmed on the grill as the presence of cold salsa and guacamole brought the internal temperature to a place less than desirable. My breve was good, better than Starbucks by a lot, but far from the best.Condoms if you want to get freaky without commitments or hormone alerting subscriptions.

Definitely oriented at a younger/activist population but I didn't find it off putting and kudos to them for such strong brand positioning/ethics.Enjoyed a really nice eggnog latte which was a perfectly, lightly sweet way to wind down the day.The free WiFi was nice and fast

This magic coffee changed my day! I moved back to saint louis for school and everything about the pandemic has me feeling all types of anxious but long story short I went to get coffee from MokaBe's because it was the closest to me and I got the iced RiRi's latte and WOW best coffee I have had in st louis- made my whole day better ! Never again going to starbucks!

Coffee was really good. They have a nice selection of food items most for under 10 bucks. If sitting outside is your cup of coffee this is the place.

Great little urban hip South Grand coffee shop and cafe. Nice array of sandwiches (including vegetarian and vegan) and breakfast offerings. Counter order and find a seat at the bar, two inside areas, an upstairs area or the fantastic patio facing Arsenal / Grand. The menu is clever, often with witty names (Slap a Nazi...omg lol). The BEST part of MoKaBe's is the free spirit, earth friendly, peace-to-all aura. Go feel at home, be one with your sandwich.

Used to be great now it’s over priced garbage. Paid $17 for a turkey sand which and a shake that’s insane. The turkey club isn’t even a club. I feel robbed I wanted to just throw away the food because I feel so ripped off.

Great cafe, and open until 11pm every day, which is better than most St. Louis study spots! The Sunday brunch is delicious.

I am writing this review before I leave because I don't want to forget to do it. I can't rate this place high enough! Traveling through STL and stumbled upon this National Treasure. Traveling is hard on me because I usually have to shift down to slightly vegetarian instead of vegan and by the time I get home, my digestive tract is ANGRY. Found this place searching Happy Cow. I may be in love, at this point. I don't have to check with my server about every menu item and do mental aerobics weighing whether it has too much dairy or if I'll feel like death in a half hour because nobody could figure out what's in a particular dish. Everything here is clearly labeled, and if they can make it vegan for you, they will. Friendly and attentive staff. Just can't say enough good!

Started coming here for celebratory coffees after passing exams in vet tech school. Now this place has become a routine hangout spot! Great food for great prices! Nice, relaxed environment with matching customer service!
